26 Jul In:motion Presents
Four years since their widely celebrated Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, Mount Kimbie are back with a new album that sees Dominic Maker and Kai Campos further explore their unique hybrid of winsome indie songwriting and modernist electronics. Love What Survives finds the talented duo teaming up with Micachu, King Krule and long-time collaborator James Blake for a captivating trip into exciting new sonic territory.
Maker and Campos are touring Europe extensively in support of the new LP, and they’ll be coming to Motion to show off their refined multi-instrumental musicianship. The live show will no doubt find them reaching for classic material from their early days in the ‘post dubstep’ era as well as their more recent output, making this a must-see for all fans of the distinctive Mount Kimbie sound.
