27 Sep In:The Mix / PBR Streetgang
A lot has happened over the past 15 years. EDM came, blew up and went away, Bristol is unrecognisable from what it was at the turn of the Millennia and for PBR Streetgang, the two DJs have gone from digging for records in their Birmingham birthplace to becoming one of the UK’s most influential underground talents.
It all began in 2003 at Club Mint, Leeds, and their club night imprint ‘Asylum’, welcoming everyone from Jazzy Jeff to Ricardo Villalobos to their northern abode. Since then, the list of labels who’ve hosted PBR productions reads like a who’s who of modern club culture; Crosstown Rebels, Futureboogie, 2020 Vision, Toy Tonic, Get Physical, the list goes on.
In the studio, much hyped remixes for Lana Del Rey and In:Motion 2018 headliners Groove Armada have made PBR Streetgang a go-to for pop’s heavyweights, and in the DJ booth, anyone who’s been along to their We Love residency at the late but great Space Ibiza can testify to their talents behind the booth.
With such a wealth of experience under their belts we’re honoured to induct PBR Streetgang into our In:The Mix series before they head to the club on 27th October alongside KINK, Fort Romeau and Hot Since 82 for Knee Deep In Sound. Featuring choice cuts from Point G, Gerd Janson, Nick Sole and the pairs new track ‘THNKLV’, available now to buy here, spend 90 minutes in the company of PBR Streetgang. All aboard the boogie boat.
